Nicole has been dreaming and scheming of the next great trip for as long as she can remember. Her Belgian and Icelandic grandparents once told her to save her money to travel and she has now gratefully traveled to 57 countries and counting. Her grandparents would be proud. Working for many years in marketing and promotions, product development and running her own company led her to realize that the most satisfying life for her is one connected to exploring. Prior to joining Royal Travel & Tours, Nicole was an Expedition Manager at National Geographic Expeditions. She has a husband and three kids who all make seeing the world a priority as much as she does. Though their dog doesn’t support this.

My Insider Travel Tip

I always bring a power strip for each hotel room we have with lots of outlet receptors! There are never enough places to charge, especially with all of the powered devices we have now. Even if there are, I may only have one adapter, so this helps to charge it all at once with the correct power conversion.

Expedition, Safari, Exotic locations, and Europe. I really focus on finding the remarkable to try to make your trip memorable and special.

Nicole has helped us organize several trips including a destination wedding to the beautiful island of Madeira in Portugal. She listened to what our vision was and helped us achieve our dream wedding and honeymoon. From selecting the perfect hotels to negotiating the contract for a block of rooms to assisting our guests with their reservations and being the main point person for all the details, she was on top of everything! We wouldn’t have been able to do this without her help and expertise! She has a fabulous sense of humor and is a true delight to work with! We are never traveling again without Nicole’s help!
