Royal Travel & Tours has been serving its family of clients since Larry and Kay Berke founded the business in 1972. Today, it remains a family-operated agency. Current President Kendra Thornton is Larry and Kay’s daughter, and she is steadfast in fostering the company’s legacy. “Legacy is something that is trustworthy and has stood the test of time,” Kendra says. “To be sustainable for so long—there’s value in that. That’s what makes Royal Travel & Tours truly special. We work hard to get to know our core clients and they value our knowledge and curated experiences.”

Given its 50 years in operation, the company remains poised for success, and as a well-known national television travel and lifestyle expert, Kendra’s leadership style is defined by both grace and grit. “We are fashionable and informed,” she adds.
